Version 2026-07-13 · Effective July 13, 2026
Terms you can understand.
These terms govern the SpaceMachine service and purchases of SpaceMachine Credits.
Service
SpaceMachine provides Mac backup, offload, recovery, and related account services. Service availability depends on an internet connection, sufficient SpaceMachine Credits, compatible software, and the customer keeping their SpaceMachine recovery words safe.
Storage freedom
SpaceMachine does not impose a one-computer-only or arbitrary acceptable-use storage ceiling. Customers may protect lawful personal or business data from compatible Macs, directly attached drives, writable NAS devices, and other mounted storage they control. Charges follow actual protected usage; technical compatibility and available service capacity still apply.
SpaceMachine Credits
Credits are prepaid service credits used only for SpaceMachine services. They are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and do not represent currency, an investment, or ownership of any underlying infrastructure asset.
Payments and taxes
Checkout shows the amount, applicable taxes, and total before payment. Completed purchases appear in the account page. The customer is responsible for accurate billing information and any taxes not collected at checkout.
Refunds and payment reviews
Refunds are handled where required by law and under any policy shown at purchase. Refunded or disputed payments may reduce the related credit balance and pause managed Web3 Cloud operations, including remote restore. Account access, local metadata, already-local files, and Common Documents remain available.
Customer responsibilities
Customers must keep recovery words private, maintain access to their Mac, use lawful content, and verify that important restores work. SpaceMachine cannot recover lost recovery words.
Reliability and limits
SpaceMachine is designed for durable protection, but no online service can promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law.
Changes
These terms may change as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
Operator
SpaceMachine is operated by Swissline Consulting from Switzerland. Questions can be raised through the SpaceMachine account page.
